1.Case against woman for minor son’s scooter ride

Ahmedabad: A minor boy riding a two-wheeler on busy roads with two pillion riders has led to his mother being booked by Ramol police. The underage boy was also not wearing a helmet.

Inspector V D Mori said no case has been registered against the three minors, but against the mother of the boy riding the scooter. The action came after an Instagram video showing the minor riding the two-wheeler dangerously with the pillion riders went viral. In the video, the minor can be seen dangerously making through traffic on a busy road, posing a serious accident risk and endangering other road users, police said.

Police tracked down the minor soon after the video caught their attention. Inquiry revealed that the rider was underage and did not possess a driving licence. Police said his mother had allowed him to ride the two-wheeler. 

2. Dipke ‘resigns’ as M.P. CM over deaths of 30 children in Balaghat

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday resorted to satire to target the Mohan Yadav government over the deaths of tribal children in Balaghat district and posted a tongue-in-cheek letter on X about his “resignation” as “Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh”.

In the letter, addressed to Governor Mangubhai Patel, Mr. Dipke stated he was quitting as “my conscience does not allow me to continue occupying this chair after the deaths”.

Through satire, the CJP chief took aim at the government’s handling of the deaths of more than 30 children, particularly the compensation announced for the victims’ families.

કોંત્રોડી ગામના પાટિયા પાસે અકસ્માત

ભાવનગર જિલ્લાના જેસર તાલુકાના કાંત્રોડી ગામના પાટિયા નજીક એક ગંભીર માર્ગ અકસ્માત સર્જાયો છે. આ પિતા-પુત્ર બેડા ગામથી લાખિયાણી જઈ રહ્યા હતા ત્યારે અકસ્માત સર્જાયો. આ અકસ્મતમાં બેડા ગામના ૩૯ વર્ષીય યુવાનનું સારવાર દરમિયાન મોત નીપજ્યું છે, જ્યારે તેમનો ૧૯ વર્ષનો પુત્ર ગંભીર રીતે ઈજાગ્રસ્ત થયો છે.

મળતી માહિતી મુજબ, ૬ સપ્ટેમ્બર ૨૦૨૬ના રોજ બપોરે આશરે ૧૧.૪૫ વાગ્યે અર્જુનભાઈ સામતભાઈ બારૈયા અને તેના પિતા સામતભાઈ બારૈયા પોતાની સી.બી. સાઈન મોટરસાયકલ (જીજે-૦૪-જેક-૧૯૭૧) લઈને બેડા ગામથી લાખિયાણી જઈ રહ્યા હતા. તે દરમિયાન કાંત્રોડી ગામના પાટિયા પાસે સામેથી આવતા હિરો સ્પ્લેન્ડર (જીજે-૦૪-ડીઆર-૩૫૩૪) ના ચાલકે પૂર ઝડપે અને બેફીકરાઈથી રોંગ સાઈડમાં વાહન ચલાવી સામતભાઈની બાઈક સાથે સામસામે ધડાકાભેર ટક્કર મારી હતી. અકસ્માતને પગલે પિતા-પુત્ર બંને રોડ પર પટકાતા સામતભાઈને માથા, હાથ અને પગના ભાગે ગંભીર ઈજાઓ પહોંચી હતી. ૧૦૮ એમ્બ્યુલન્સ મારફત તેમને જેસર સરકારી હોસ્પિટલ અને ત્યારબાદ વધુ સારવાર માટે મહુવાની હનુમંત હોસ્પિટલ ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા હતા, જ્યાં સારવાર દરમિયાન સામતભાઈનું મૃત્યુ થયું હતું. 

ઈજાગ્રસ્ત અર્જુનભાઈના ફરિયાદના આધારે જેસર પોલીસ સ્ટેશનમાં સ્પ્લેન્ડર બાઈકના ચાલક સામે બી.એન.એસ.એસ. અને મોટર વાહન અધિનિયમની વિવિધ કલમો હેઠળ ગુનો નોંધવામાં આવ્યો છે. પોલીસે બનાવ અંગે આગળની કાનૂની કાર્યવાહી શરૂ કરી છે.

સરહદ જવાનોએ પશ્ચિમ બંગાળના મુરિદાબાદ જિલ્લામાં ભારત-બાંગ્લાદેશ વચ્ચેની આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય સરહદે ગંગા નદીમાં ડૂબી રહેલા એક બાળક સહિત ૧૦ બાંગ્લાદેશી નાગરિકોને બચાવી લીધા છે.

સરહદ સલામતી દળ (બીએસએફ)ની ૭૧મી બટાલિયનના જવાનોએ શનિવારે સાંજે ખાનપુરા સરહદી પોસ્ટ પાસે કેટલાંક ચિંતિત લોકોને જોયા. આ લોકોમાં ૩૦ દિવસનું નવજાત, બે બાળકો, ત્રણ મહિલાઓનો સમાવેશ થયો હતો.

ગંગા નદીમાં એમની હોડી ઊંધી વળી જતાં તેઓ પાણીના પ્રવાહ સાથે તણાઈ રહ્યા હતા. સરહદ સલામતી દળના જવાનોએ તરત લોકોને બચાવવા માટે એમના સુધી પહોંચવા માટે સ્પીડ બોટનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો. બાંગ્લાદેશીઓએ જણાવ્યું કે તેઓ બાંગ્લાદેશના જેહારપુર ગામમાં રહે છે.

તેઓ હોડીમાં બાંગ્લાદેશના ચાપાઈ નવાબગંજથી જેહારપુર જઈ રહ્યા હતા. ત્યાં અચાનક એમની હોડી ઊંધી વળી ગઈ, પરિણામે હોડીના બધા લોકો એકાએક નદીમાં પડી ગયા અને ભારતીય પ્રદેશમાં તણાઈ ગયા.
